Requirements:
Seeking a 1-3 year experienced underwriter who will have the advanced responsibility in developing rates and renewal preparation for risk and non-risk business. This candidate will coordinate the preparation of various evaluations and analyses as required. Must act in a confidential capacity handling a high degree exposure level to sensitive company information.
Responsibilities will include:

Calculating rates for proposals to current groups and prospects on both risk and non risk business

Calculating renewal rates for current groups

Preparing various financial/statistical reports including the preparation of Schedule A, 5500 forms

Working closely with the Marketing/Sales Team responding to inquiries
The successful candidate must possess a
four year college degree preferably in math, economics,
or finance, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
In addition, the college graduate
should have at least one year underwriting and decision making experience. Ability to perform a volume of numerical detail, working with speed and accuracy. Knowledge of group health benefits. This candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
