If you're looking for a participating dentist, Delta Dental's "Find a Dentist" feature on our Web site makes the search a snap.
The site enables you to search for general dentists or specialists within 5, 10, 20 or 50 miles from an address of your choosing. You can search for a general dentist near your workplace, an oral surgeon near home, and a pedodontist (pediatric dentist) near your children's
school - whatever is most convenient for you.
Each listing includes the dentist's name, dental specialty, address and phone number. It also features an icon to click for maps and door-to-door driving directions to the dentist's office, including mileage and travel-time information.
The Find a Dentist feature also allows you to search for dentists in other states, in case you will be traveling or staying out of the area.
Find Out If Your Dentist Participates
If you already have a dentist, you can also use the "Find a Dentist" feature to see if he or she participates with Delta Dental. Three out of four dental offices nationwide participate in at least one Delta Dental network. Chances are good that your dentist participates in one or more network.
There are more than 145,000 participating DeltaPremier dental offices nationwide, with nearly 9,000 in New Jersey and Connecticut alone. There are more than 4,000 Delta's Advantage Program dental offices in New Jersey. More than 71,000 dental offices nationwide participate with DeltaPreferred Option, with more than 4,500 offices in New Jersey and Connecticut. There are also more than 13,600 DeltaCare dental HMO general dentists and specialists nationwide, with more than 600 participating in New Jersey and Connecticut.
