Employees Contribute Time, Money to Help Katrina Victims
Delta Dental and our employees united to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Employees raised money for the American Red Cross and collected goods for families in Biloxi, Mississippi, who lost everything. One employee spent two weeks volunteering with the Red Cross in storm-ravaged regions. For more on our response, read on.

Dental Director Writes Article on Childhood Tooth Decay in School Nurse News
Hidden sugar in many popular foods contributes to tooth decay in children, writes Dr. Scott Navarro, Delta Dental's dental director, in the September 2005 issue of School Nurse News. To read more about how to help children reduce their sugar intake and develop good oral hygiene habits, read more.
New Issue of Wisdom Tooth Available Online
The latest issue features articles on free oral health resources from the National Institutes of Health, why mouthguards are so important for student athletes, and how to handle almost any type of dental emergency. For more about our free e-mail newsletter Wisdom Tooth and how to access its articles, read on.
Halloween an Opportunity for Oral Health Talk with Kids
This season of trick-or-treating doesn't have to be all about candy. Parents can communicate important messages about oral health when they help their children moderate their candy intake and remember to brush, floss and visit the dentist. To learn more, read on.
Delta Dental Celebrates Customer Service Week Oct. 3-7
Customer satisfaction is one big reason why Delta Dental remains the leading dental benefits provider in New Jersey and Connecticut. We're celebrating National Customer Service Week October 3-7 with a variety of events that honor our customer service agents and remind all of us at Delta Dental of their important role. Walt VanBrunt, our president and CEO, has called our customer service professionals "the most important contact a customer will have with our company." We take great pride in having customer service professionals who are informed, helpful and friendly. Thank you for giving all of us at Delta Dental the opportunity to serve you.
