Benefits Connection Now Available Monday Through Saturday

Now, you can access up-to-date information about your dental benefits six days a week. Our online Benefits Connection is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST.

This secure, online tool makes it easy to manage your dental benefits. Here are some of the things you can do with Benefits Connection:

Review your benefits, eligibility, and claims. You can find detailed information about your benefits, such as:

• Your dental network. (And, once you know that, you can use our online Find a Dentist feature to search a participating dentist near you; scroll over “Members” on the left navigation bar and click “Find A Dentist.”)

• Complete descriptions of procedures covered and the benefit percentage paid by Delta Dental, deductibles, limitations, and waiting periods.

• A complete record of claims for the past two years, including dates of service, procedure codes, amounts submitted and paid, and processing policies.

• Tooth history. You can view your tooth history for any procedures processed by Delta Dental.

Print a copy of your ID card. The ID card includes your name, group number, and the Delta Dental program in which you are enrolled. Log onto Benefits Connection, then click the icon on the top left of the screen to print your card. This feature is available to all members except those enrolled in Delta Dental Patient Direct and DeltaCare.

Contact Customer Service online over a password-protected connection. Protected health information about patients requires more security than traditional e-mail provides. Instead of e-mailing us, use our “Contact Customer Service Form,” located within the secure area of our Web site. Unlike traditional e-mail, this is protected by SSL technology and encrypted. This means your message cannot be read by unauthorized persons as it travels over the Internet.

To access Benefits Connection, go to www.deltadentalnj.com. Scroll over “Members” on the left navigation bar, click “Benefits Connection” and log on. If you’ve never used Benefits Connection, click “Register Now” and follow the instructions onscreen.

If you’ve forgotten your Benefits Connection password, don’t despair. Go to www.deltadentalnj.com. Scroll over “Members” on the left navigation bar and click “Benefits Connection.” Then click “Forgot Password” under the Logon box for instructions on resetting your password.
